Project description

No fewer than 33,000 solar panels, which function as a sustainable energy source, float on the sand extraction lake in Nij Beets without disturbing the environment.

As always, we have developed a tailor-made anchoring system for this project, using special flipping anchors. This means that the anchors do not have to be attached to the shore. It has been ensured that there is enough space between the floating solar park and the banks, so that the flora and fauna of the banks do not get in the way. This maintains a view of the surroundings and prevents damage to the banks.

The anchors are placed on precise precision by means of detailed examination and the necessary calculations. The anchors are then given a tensile test that they have to pass to guarantee the stability for the solar park that will be attached to this. The results, locations and other necessary information are documented and transferred.

A combination of abrasion-resistant rope and flexible lines keeps the solar farm firmly in place, even during stormy conditions. A smart, durable solution for a stable energy source.

The energy transition entails changes in the landscape. With this floating solar park at this former sand extraction location, we make smart use of the limited space in our country, which provides local support
