Project description
In Kloosterhaar there is an impressive floating solar park with 40,000 solar panels, securely and sustainably anchored on a sand extraction lake. For this project, we developed a custom solution in which folding anchors provide a solid anchorage without damage to the banks. Taking people, animals and plants into account was of paramount importance to us and our clients for this floating solar park.
A combination of strong but flexible lines allows the solar farm to adapt to water movements and extreme weather conditions, while remaining firmly in place. This ensures a safe and reliable energy solution for the future.
During the realization of this floating solar park, a lot of account was taken of humans, animals and plants. This has been expressed as follows:
- With the floating solar park on the water, no usable area (such as agricultural land) is used.
- In addition, this park offers extra protection for the marine life that lives in this lake. Like an opportunity for the fish to take shelter.
- And the people in the area can take advantage of the green energy that this solar park generates for them.
