An achievement we are already proud of, but also aware that there is still more to achieve. We are actively working to secure a nice spot on the CO2 Performance Ladder. Namely Level 3. But of course we strive to get even higher on the CO2 Performance Ladder.
The CO2 Performance Ladder is used as a sustainability tool of the Netherlands that helps companies reduce carbon emissions, among other things. This ladder is divided into 5 levels. Up to level 3, the organization deals with emissions from its own company and projects. Levels 4 & 5 ensure that work is done on CO₂ emissions throughout the chain and sector.
Based on the following requirements, the organization can be classified at the appropriate level:
By 2025 we want to reduce our CO2 emissions by 12% compared to 2022.
To this end, an action plan has been drawn up that we will adhere to as much as possible to achieve this goal. For example, we will install even more solar panels on our roof, purchase electric company cars and ensure that our equipment will also be more sustainable. We will tell you exactly what this looks like here.
Gladly we would like that someday our vision become a reality. And that starts with a plan and following through on it. In doing so, we encourage our employees and others to help make the vision a reality.
Whether we have achieved our main goal will be known at our next audit. Then we will be happy to share the news and will adjust our goal again. The next goal will be ambitious, but definitely achievable.
