Project description
This floating solar park was realized on a sand extraction lake and was a challenging project due to the large number of anchor points and complex connections. And we had to take into account the nature conservation of this location. Nevertheless, we have succeeded with care and precision in installing a robust and durable anchoring system.
By using special folding anchors, the anchors do not need to be attached to the shore, leaving the banks untouched. Our flexible lines provide extra strength and can move with changing weather conditions.
In addition to realizing the anchoring of the floating solar park, Knoop BV has also supplied zincers. The sinkers are attached to the thick-walled casing pipes that are supplied for the floating solar park. But in order to allow shipping to continue, part of the jacket pipe has been sunk. For example, the casing pipe is deep enough that the fishermen are allowed to continue their work in their working area.
Drivers have also been installed to ensure safety, so that it is also visible from further away where this tube is and where one can sail through it.
This project was a project in which technology and nature conservation go hand in hand.
