Project description
On a vast sand extraction lake we realized an anchoring system for an innovative floating solar panel park with no less than 420 solar boats. During its operation, this park will soon generate 3.6 MW of sustainable energy. This green energy is entirely intended for the own use of the sand pit owner.
No project is without challenges. And here too we were put to the test with the challenges. The soil structure in particular turned out to be variable. Due to the different heights and structures of the soil, a detailed soil investigation was indispensable. With the data from the soil investigation, the anchors could still be placed in the correct positions. Thanks to our experience and innovative approach, we have been able to realize a robust and reliable anchoring system, with which the solar park remains safely in place. Ready to generate sustainable energy for years.
At Knoop BV, we are proud of our part in this progressive project. With every anchoring system, we contribute to a more sustainable world, whether it is nature restoration, hydraulic engineering or renewable energy.
