Anchoring of floating solar farm in Beilen

For the floating solar farm in Beilen, we carried out the complete anchoring of a 14 MW installation, which generates renewable energy for around 4,500 households each year.

This project perfectly illustrates our strengths: bespoke solutions, flexibility and the ability to respond quickly. Due to a tight construction schedule, the construction of the solar park was at risk of coming to a standstill. Within a matter of days, we mobilised our equipment and team so that we could start work immediately and ensure the project remained on track.

Using our specialised anchor set, we installed the anchors to a depth of 41 metres, fully in accordance with the project requirements. The seabed conditions fell into what we refer to as the ‘normal’ category, which meant we were able to continue working efficiently without the need for any additional adjustments. Thanks to our experience and thorough preparation, the installation went smoothly and all the anchors were installed in a single operation. Each anchor installed is designed to withstand a load of 10 tonnes. The anchoring system therefore offers sufficient capacity for the relatively heavy floating solar park systems currently in use on the market.
