Project description
Welcome to Raalte, where we have completed an extraordinary project for a floating solar farm that will provide enough energy to power 6,400 households.
We are proud of the new layout of our platform, the improvements of which are noticeable in the safety and efficiency of our work. An example of this is the integrated GPS control room and canteen, which now function as a handy extension of our platform. We also use a new type of crane for moving anchors, which gives us more control and flexibility.
Thanks to these improvements, we can deploy our anchoring systems even more safely and clearly. We are very satisfied with this setup and will continue to use these methods in future projects. We liked the advantages of our improved layout of the anchoring platform so much during this project that we are currently implementing this format as the standard.
For the floating solar park on the Rekoplas, a lot of attention has of course been paid to the benefits for humans, animals and plants. A mentality that we attach great importance to Knoop BV. The many parties involved in this project ensured that the benefits of humans, animals and plants were actually included in the development of the plan up to implementation.
The solar park attached to our anchors has more advantages than just generating energy. Although that is a great bonus for humans, animals (such as fish and birds) now also have an extra possibility of shelter here. It also promotes the growth of algae and plankton, which attracts a rich biodiversity. Partly because of this, we are proud to have been part of the realization of this project.
