Project Description
Due to our experience in executing projects in Germany, we are well aware of the requirements. Among other things, the requirements for the equipment used can be quite strict. We like to be well prepared and therefore prepare ourselves thoroughly!
For this unique project we were asked, by Energy Project Solutions, if we could also electrically place the anchors in the soil. Preferably within 7 weeks if possible. The deadline caused some fitting and measuring work, but we got to work right away.
Our alteration system has been converted and can now (in addition to already being able to set anchors to a depth of 120 meters) also set fully electric anchors. We are proud to say that we are the first to have made this possible and can offer it! In addition to complying with laws and regulations, this step means an important contribution to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
Just electrically placing the anchors was not the only challenge we encountered on this project. We also faced an exceptionally slack topsoil of 3 to 6 meters in the preparation phase.
This required extensive research, many consultations and multiple modifications to the anchor design. But we arrived at the optimal solution.
The result:
A custom alteration system perfectly suited to the conditions. This park has become a combination of bottom anchors and shore anchors. And also proof that innovation and sustainability go hand-in-hand, without compromising on quality and reliability.
We would like to thank Energy Project Solutions, Limknow, Blue C, Ostenweg and Zimmerman for working together during this special project. Together we made a successful pilot that paves the way for future electric projects!
