We are actively working to secure a nice spot on the CO2 Performance Ladder. Namely <strong>Level 3<\/strong>. But of course we strive to get even higher on the CO2 Performance Ladder.   <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3f31401 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3f31401\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What is the CO2 performance ladder?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-191dc4b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"191dc4b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The CO2 Performance Ladder is used as a sustainability tool of the Netherlands that helps companies reduce carbon emissions, among other things. This ladder is divided into 5 levels. Up to level 3, the organization deals with emissions from its own company and projects. Levels 4 &amp; 5 ensure that work is done on CO\u2082 emissions throughout the <strong>chain and sector<\/strong>.   <\/p><p>Based on the following requirements, the organization can be classified at the appropriate level:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Insight.<\/strong><ul><li>Determining the energy flows and the CO \u2082 footprint;<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Reduction.<\/strong><ul><li>Developing ambitious targets for CO \u2082 reduction;<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Transparency. <\/strong><ul><li>Structural communication on the CO \u2082 policy;<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Participation.<\/strong><ul><li>Participation in initiatives in the sector in the field of CO \u2082 reduction.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1106108 e-con-full elementor-hidden-desktop elementor-hidden-tablet elementor-hidden-mobile e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"1106108\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9bcb948 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9bcb948\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Our main goal<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e34c361 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e34c361\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>By 2025 we want to reduce our CO2 emissions by 12% compared to 2022<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p><p>To this end, an action plan has been drawn up that we will adhere to as much as possible to achieve this goal. For example, we will install even more solar panels on our roof, purchase electric company cars and ensure that our equipment will also be more sustainable. We will tell you exactly what this looks like <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/knoopbv.nl\/en\/safe-and-environmentally-aware-operations\/\">here<\/a><\/span><\/span>.    <\/p><p>Gladly we would like that someday our <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/knoopbv.nl\/en\/mission-vision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vision<\/a><\/span><\/span> become a reality. And that starts with a plan and following through on it. In doing so, we encourage our employees and others to help make the vision a reality.    <\/p><p>Whether we have achieved our main goal will be known at our next audit. Then we will be happy to share the news and will adjust our goal again.
